How beautiful. What a challenge to embroider on velvet with metallic thread! I doubt that many of us would do both; I know I would only embroider on velvet with different thread; or I would use metallic thread on a different fabric. Thank you for sharing with us and showing us that nothing is impossible.

WOW! Maria, this looks so majestic. I love the fact that you've done these designs on velvet! I've never stitched on velvet in a hoop as I've heard a lot about hoop burn! Did you just have the fabric sitting in the hoop without the top section on? Love Chris

I hoop Florianni tearaway medium non stretch stabilizer and the velvet an top and I did try stick and tear but did work the metallic and the glue gat an needle pull the bobbin thread an top was not easy the tables was six yards of fabric to line up and embroider an my pafaff embroidery machine Thank you Chris for you kind comments hugs Maria
