Another mystery project from SanFransciso Emb site. Christmas table runner. Again, I am lousy with binding...but I still like the runner.

A lot of work went into this table runner. I can't see whats wrong with the binding.as it isn't sitting flat. do you iron your binding on the fold as it helps to hold it even. Lovely

Tks. You'll be pleased when you start it. I usually wait until all the blocks are ready as I want my materials to match.

I had to look up the word Spinet, I'd never heard of it. I see it's like a small Harpsichord or small piano. Beautiful runner Gerry and I love all the colours you've chosen. With regards to the binding, did you cut the fabric on the bias? It should always be cut on the bias that way it fits better along the sides and goes round the corners more easily. Love and blessings Chris

I followed their directions from the mug rug, where you actually use part of the backing. I do have one of those corner miter tools that works well, but I don't take the time to measure & be sure all the parts are even. Always in a hurry. Due to arthritis in my fingers I don't do much hand work, thus the machine doesn't always do as well.

Love your color selections. I have not finished mine, and part of that was I didn't quite like how they put it together. Yours looks much nicer to me, I think I will use yours as an example.

This turned out so nice, Gerry. I think the binding looks great. I need to get going on mine before they come out with a new one! ☺

I like it very much! I do not like binding either, and recently bought the guide foot. I need to try it soon.
