I want to make new couch pad as Mr. Peeko keeps digging and making the old ones all fuzzy.
I bought two of these panels at the good will store for three dollars
I bought this design of hearts from;http://www.janesembroidery.com/
Now to finish quilting it and find a way to cut it out with one hand.I was thinking to draw the lines on it and sew it with the serger .That way it cuts it for me???Hugs Carolyn

Lovely. I know Mr. Peeko will love it too. As for one-handed cutting, you could hold down the fabric with bricks or heavy jars/cans and then cut. I've done this before during one of my one-handed stints and it works pretty well.

Ahh! Another Goodwill woman. Yesterday our local thrift had dresses and skirts for $1.00 each. I got two full length leather skirts - not my size, which doesn't matter. I'm going to try some machine stitching on leather patches.

I love to shop Goodwill also, but I should be making donations instead of bring more stuff home. I have 2 or 3 charities that come to my home and pick up. I like them ,too.

Good shopping & lovely work .Have you tried battery operated scissors ?They are used at Spotlight (fabric shop)just aim &cut no finger movement needed.

Wow, Carolyn, you cease to amaze me! This is a great idea, I use the overlocker (serger) for that very same reason and it cuts so nice and straight (as long as the fabric is straight of course). Peeko will love this. I'd be looking into some electric scissors or batter operated ones too Carolyn. Check it out on Google there are a lot out there. Love Chris
