On the 6:00 news last night, a man from Australia was at the Mall of America in MPLS, Mn. He said he had never felt that cold before. He said he heard it was nice here in the summer, that must be why people live here. -40 below. LOL

I live in the "sun Belt" of MN, only -8 here right now. But on Saturday it was in the high 40's.

SE corner of the state, Winona County. Far south enough from the Twin Cities that we don't get that band of weather and far north enough that we don't get what moves through Iowa.

That is too cold for me! I think I'd have to stay inside until spring.

Or they live in the bitter cold because they are stationed there by the military. My husband and I spent 2 1/2 years in North Dakota and were very glad to get a new assignment. I don't do well in the bitter cold.
