Pillow for my Neice in black & burgandy. She likes celtic knotwork and her living room has these colors. It was a fun project (except for the invisible zipper I used), as I have not done a patchwork style pillow before, and had to be extra precise with hooping to make sure the knot design was aligned perfectly with the seams. Made me nervous watching it stitch out, but I am very pleased with the end result. Hope you like it as well. Thanks.

Thank you. The colors go with her living space, so I started there when I was planning this project.

thank you. I actually stitched the fabric pieces together first, then hooped it, oh so carefully, then stitched the knot designs. I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Amazing - truly gorgeous!! I hope she loved it. I would never have come up with this patchwork and emb design placement combination. Did you embroider first or patch together and then embroider? Very impressive!! On my bucket list now. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I sewed the fabric blocks together first, then stitched the design. The contrasting colors make it more striking, I think.

It looks gorgeous. Great use of that corner design and you show excellent hooping and placement skills!
Don't you just hate it when people say: oh, you have one of those machines that do it all automatically.

Thank you so much, Martine. I appreciate your comments. I wish my old machine could do it all automatically!! Well, I was so afraid it wasn't going to be hooped straight, that I watched every stitch and was poised ready to stop it if anything didn't look right. The fabric is real suede, and I didn't want to put unnecessary holes in it if my placement was off. I was so relieved (and pleased) when it finished stitching out. Thanks again.
