When you comment as I am doing -- it will bring the post back to the top. You can also click on your avatar name to see all of the thread posts you have started. I wish I could check posts I have commented on -- but that is not available.
I have attached a post with a lot of information in it. Many questions are answered in it. If you have a question not answered there -- add it and I am sure someone will answer.

It used to be possible to check posts which we had commented on - there was a "my answers" tab. I miss this one a lot, but it is still very useful to be able to see all the threads I have started (or indeed those started by anyone else.
