Last night, I did a foolish thing. I offered a design in the projects section if people PMed me their email address. I have, so far, sent it 50 times! (I may not risk it again.)
What has interested me though, is to analyse those requests. Most were made very politely which is a good start.
What amazed me was that several obviously new members (no flowers) managed to work out how to send me a PM when others who have been around for longer still can't do it. Another interesting point was that most of them had not made a comment in the projects section, but had gone direct to PM.
Worrying (and a nuisance to our lovely moderators) was that quite a lot of people published their email address in the projects thread.
I do wish there was a good way of communicating how the site works to all members.
The bottom line is that it makes me feel quite good that people from all over the world now have my design to play with. I wonder if they will all use it and post a picture in Projects.
I look forward to seeing 50+ different Cuties displaying their newly acquired design.
Maggiecal, if you post in the Project tab and include the picture of your item stitched out -- then we can all see the lovely work and Sue will have the kind of thanks she loves best -- her digitizing work in stitches and displayed so we all can see it.
This is the best group and as you say, talented and generous is so many ways.

Now I'm just off to check my e-mail....
I realized that I should have signed my user name for clarity after reading this post. I know that I'm not the only Joan around! Sometimes we don't see past our own noses........ :) I will post a picture when I get home to my machine to sew again which will be early February. I miss sewing so much!
Thanks bunches for all you do for us.

If you need more help -- please ask.
I have been a member since sometime in 2007 I think it was. Once when you clicked on a user name you had information that they gave out like country, town, likes & the date when you first signed in.
Sue you may have upto 300 requests as that is around the number that vote for a design. It is very thoughtful of you to take on a lot of work to save Veronika a lot of work when doing maintenance.
THANKYOU. wendy
Thank You very much for the design I certainly did not expect it so soon. I will do some and put a picture up to show you , at the moment I have been busying helping my daughter get things organized for her wedding then I maybe able to get down and do some sewing.
scroll down to the posting by jrob for instructions.
What I learned from the first one was to make a zip-file of all requested formats (easy in Embird manager) and put everyone in one email (as BCC), that saved a lot of time sorting out who needed which format when I made such an offer again..
Your design is being used - projects is showing how many people already used it. That's a great feeling, isn't it.
I have made up a zipped file with the formats and the instructions and BCC is my best friend! Sending them individually would have driven me completely round the bend!
Our internet was on a go slow yesterday and emails not working at all so I have so,me catching up to do today.
