Thank you for taking the trouble to post that explanation. All of those people you think of as friends would welcome your input on a regular basis. I'm afraid I may have given you the impression that I thought you were a freebie grabber. If so, I hope you will accept my apology.

I wish I could have seen pictures of some of the projects you completed. It is wonderful that you use the designs!
I am sorry you feel like you have been lumped into the "freebie grabbers." Some people never stitch out any of the designs -- they just collect them. That isn't what the digitizers here want. They hope to help Cuties have a chance to use their machines.
If you have been doing that -- then you needn't feel bad at all.
Please consider posting one of your many creations in Projects. I love to give flowers and praise (as often as I can) to those that posts there.

Amen, well said. I agree. Unfortunately some posts make you feel as if you must follow a certain path on how to use this site and if you do not, then you are a design hoarder, freebie grabber or you appear to be abusing the site. I think each member has a right to enjoy this site as they see fit and should not be labeled because they choose to be still or do not participate as suggested. I am so glad you made this post because I bet there are a lot of members who feel the same. There is no freely offered design worth feeling badly about. Too bad you feel you were "allowed" to post. Thought this site was a welcoming place to be. I am with you, I will continue to peek in and enjoy this site my way.

Hi RoseMayMay, nice to meet you. I wish is was under different circumstances. From what I gather there has been more harsh words here on Cute. It has been getting much better around here, I thought, I still think, so I am hoping you will reconsider your drop in and come as often as ever. I also hope you and other silent members know that those of us that are verbose will not forget you are there and are a vital part of this group. I do empathize with you in that I have adjusted my posting behavior because of comments. It is a risk to put yourself out there, and hopefully all on this site will remember to treat others as we would want to be treated. Best wishes!

I'd love to see pictures of completed gifts you've made (that's my favorite part of CUTIES). But if you don't have the ability to take or post pictures I understand. Maybe if you try and describe the item in chat...it would still be nice to read.

But please don't be hurt to avoid you never know I or another could be a very good friend. Prayer partner. Translation may also distort the intent of the writer. This is a wonderful family that welcomes all and encourages all the multitudes of talents that each cutie brings to this site. I also do not contribute as much as others, but each time I read a post or download a design, I thank God for the talent he has blessed the cutie with or ask God to bless the cutie and their family in their time of need. When I have needed the cute family they were there for me and their prayers were answered for me. I felt compelled to answer your post because I know there are many Cuties who never comment in community even though they may read the posts and give flowers and get to "know" other (more outgoing) Cuties through their sharing of their daily lives, so please know that you are not alone in that and I believe there would be only very few Cuties who would label this as being a "freebie grabber".
As for asking for designs, free or otherwise, my darling Mother used to say "if you don't ask how can you receive" and I always took that as meaning,
"I will never get something I want unless I ask for it", or,
"how will anyone know what I want if I don't speak up and ask for it".

As a digitiser, I, and many others here, are only too willing to help out if someone wants a specific design that they cannot find anywhere else, as long as the subject matter is not something illegal.
Digitising Cuties are members just like you and they give of their time and expertise freely, without expecting anything other than acknowledgement for their generosity.
So if you need a design that you can't locate anywhere, you should feel welcome to ask if there is someone willing to help you either find it, or digitise it, for you.
Remember by asking, you will also be giving other Cuties the opportunity of sharing in the pleasure of giving something back to you, a sister Cutie.

I for one have been chastised for asking about the designs by cuties being under maintenance, which i didn't understand. Most of the folks that were on the site when I first joined are gone. I don't understand why they left. I have had personal issues and haven't been able to go on the site as often as I used to. I did enjoy the site for years but I will not be joining again because when I sent personal messages to the owner of the site I never got a reply and felt that I was intruding on their space.

Such a blessing to know there's a "silent" prayer warrior out there!! Some of my precious warriors have passed away in the last few years & I am approaching the age praying MAY be all I can do. (not yet, however!) So don't stop coming by & praying & enjoying the site!! I, too, pray for each person as I read a request. (If I'm the only one still awake, I say their name out loud...wouldn't want my hubby to think I'd lost my mind in here talking to the computer! LOL)
