I've had this--the tests are simple (no discomfort except when rising from the bed--walls spin around again). The crystals are displaced in the ear and need to be re positioned. The worst of the treatment is having to sleep sitting up in chair for 48 hrs--no lying flat. But is so worth it! I wonder how my crystals got displaced? Laughingly explain that my brain needed the room to expand. I will pray that the one treatment makes her well.

I will add my prayers for her comfort and that the treatment works -- the first time.

Yes, I too will be sending her positive vibes......being a dizzy sufferer myself (my dizzies are from my migraines and can last for days or weeks) I know the misery it causes........So to everyone who has this issue wherever it comes from, here are blessings to you all......

Ok, question: is this crystal something that develops, like getting a kidney or gall stone? Or is it something that's supposed to be there, but gets out of place. I never heard of having a crystal in your ear. Don't suppose they can blast it with ultrasound like they do the other stones. Just being curious as to what's actually happening, can't visualize it. Oh yes! and I am so glad you are her buddy! I do not know for sure what this is, however it sounds horrible. It affects balance I think. I am so sorry she has to have surgery. Please pass on my best wishes and let her know that she is in my thoughts and prayers.
