At last finished! This was supposed to be a Christmas present but somehow I could not finish it. I kept seeing gaps to fill in. Ok the designs became smaller and smaller. There are more than 150 designs on this wall hanging, it is all a reflection on our garden. From flowers to tools. From birds to garden pests (moles and snails come to mind. All higgelty and piggelty. just like our garden!

Lots of love in this garden & it doesn't need to be watered or weeded.

Yes, no more expensive plant death and replacement, almost no sore back and hands. Lovely.

I have to say that this is one of the nicesest things that I have ever seen on projects. I just LOVE it. It bought a tear to my eye as it immediately reminded me of my mother, especially the bluetit and robin. It is truly a work of art. I am so pleased you finished it. Thank you. I am sending you a PM. I rarely see a collage project this fantastic! What a wonderful way to use all those garden designs we collect. I like how you fringed the burlap too, makes it look more earthy! Can you share what kind of stabilizer you used? This inspired me to do something like it with a Christmas theme.

I used a tear away on the back (mistake as it was a lot od work to get rid of it) at the end of the project I did use only wash away stabiliser on top and bottom. With hessian you have to use a wash away stabiliser on the top as it is quite open weave.

This is just wonderful! I had to study each design! Makes me want to get out and play in the dirt! Well done!
