Made Sue's Octagon shape with left over bits from another project. Think I started the second round with the wrong color but my daughter wants it so I'm not telling her. Used a variegated thread to do the top stitching. It was the thread spool from hell. Would not stay on the spool holder so I put it in a cup and found it had a nick in the spool and the thread kept catching. Thank you Sue, it is a fun shape to work with.

Great job Anita: I can see why your daughter loves it. If you ever get a spool of thread with a nick in it, just use a nail file or emery board to smooth it. Worked great for me. Hugs Jerri

Thanks. I started filing it and the spool is split so the nick will not go away. It is a big spool and new so will try some super glue carefully then maybe another filing.

That looks fantastic. You didn't start the second round with the wrong colour - it swirls perfectly!

Thank you. Have been having a sinus migraine and probably shouldn't have tried something new. Once you look at it close up it plays tricks on your eyes. lol
