After seeing Michelle's rounded towel I had to try make me one. I got a touch of the scrap patch fever and made heart.

I have to redo my velcro tab I put on backwards at top.

I missed the round towel. Yours looks fabulous and you may have solved a problem for me in the mean while! The velcro looks fine. Excellent!

I hope got right but this is from Michelle's http://www.cuteembroidery.com/9484893_cuties-thought-would-show-some.html
I hate to waste and to test this out before buying or my choice of buying towel or to make with terry cloth??? I had a towel that was thick and nice except the bottom of it was getting worn. So I laid it out measured it was 24 by however long. I thought I will get out my big pizza pan 20" and then I went around that adding 4 ins. which gets you around the inside dia. of the towel without wasting totally because what is left of towel will work inside mat of some kind. Once I had circle then cut I added the bias tape I made with the tape maker Chris talked about over year ago and not to long ago. I then used some of bias to make the loop. I first thought I would sew as loop on top and then tie to handle with something else but then thought why not sew then add velcro. Pic1 shows centered. Pic 2 Shows velcro at centered bottom and other piece is at top of this strap loop and it does hang well with velcro. You could also use snaps if you got snap hardware. So now I will get towels on sale and many colors and make a few to have on hand for gifts with design of interest as I make. Hope this helped.

thank you ever so much. I do like it and to use an older towel, the middle is an excellent Idea as I have lots of them lol. Have no bias maker but know a shop that sells lots in all sorts of colours, so will look there first when next in town. thanks again for your help.Hugs edith

Thank you dear rescuer. It goes smooth if you get along with bias tape. I had several interruptions but circle still done fast.

Thanks for the photos. 'A picture tells...' and all that. I really like this idea and would make use of it in some of those very messy kitchen jobs when normal-sized hand-towels get wet very quickly.
