I love it! It looks fantastic. I love your added strength with the square of cotton print. The curtain fabric got me to thinking waffle weave type fabric and it would be excellent to use. I got to thinking today could even add button but not my favorite thing to do.

I suggested a button to Lorayle because I find velcro gathers everything in it's path and I find it annoying. I have also done these in basketweave and it is great.

What a great idea that you both had. I have some bath towels that have seen better days that would work for this.

Great job Carolyn
If I may make one small suggestion it would be to shorten your loop in the center as you will find it hangs to low and you will be down on your knees to use it LOL,
great job, nice to see that my projects inspire others and see their take on things. Mary's was great as well.

Michelle,These towels are for our church kitchen it is all done in burgundy .The towel rack(put up by a man) is way high ,its at my nose level lol .None of us have the heart to say we don't like it ,so we/i just buy big or long towels lol Soooooooo this is a perfect length for their .
For myself i agree it would be a wee bit shorter.
Sorry i never gave you credit to for the idea of these towels also .Your projects are always lovely:):) Any new ideas for me ??you know I love my towels Hugs Carolyn

Thanks for showing us , I can sort out how you did this from your photos , I have a lot of old towels and I like to use a towel to wipe my hands on in the kicken in stead of a tea towel thanks for the idea. love Sherene X

Great work Carolyn. I have used many old towels or ones that had had an "accident" - accidently ripped by our horse!!!! Work great in the kitchen.I sew fabric banding on to the raw edges. Will put these circle towels on my to do list. Will be better having larger area for hands. My hubbie and son work on our home business in the garage and always wash up in the sink. Very handy and I like dark colours also.....LOL Lynx
