It is about 10 years since I bought my lovely Brother Galaxie 3000 embroidery machine, something I never thought would happen. From the very first time I saw a embroidery machine in action about 4 - 5 years before I got mine I wanted one with a passion. Ten years ago my dear friend ( we have known each other since we were 12) lost her mother and she inherited her parents estate. She generously sent me the money to buy my machine as a token of our long friendship. I had been going to get a new Galaxie 2000 but was able to buy a hardly used second hand 3000 from the shop. The note with the machine said go buy that machine that you keep going on about. . I got her a laptop for her 60th birthday and handed it over with the words get that book written...
