Love the caps for sure.they can put them on before the coat and it will stay and keep their necks warm.I am fairly 'new' to serging/no classes.Tell me how you attach the ribbing around the face hole I know the fleece will want to stretch on the curves so how do you know how long to make the ribbing?They look warm.

I usually make the ribbing 10 - 15% smaller than the hole they have to fit.
In the instructions to the pattern it said 8 cm wide and the length 2/3 of the whole length
I atteched the ribbon on the serger, was no problem
