this morning I said: " it's just how you feel or see yourself. young or old."

What do you see in this picture: young or old lady?

I only saw the young woman until I read the comments and I went back and looked . next time I look in the mirror I will be what I see because when I first look I do not see the wrinkles .

I see the young lady. I suppose you are referring to her hat veil as a wrinkled old lady. I say concentrate on the young lady more. Kay

Saw the young lady first and had to look awhile but finally found the old lady. My b-day was yesterday so I will keep looking for the young lady in the mirror.

I can't find the old lady in that! Just the young. Does that mean I'm forever young, not facing reality, or just dense!? LOL

Love this double pictures. When I was a little girl (or as my friends say in the Caveman days), there was a dept store in town that had 2 pictures on display. People would always be at the window trying to see both pictures in one. Years later I discovered Pres. Lyndon's home had a copy of one of the pictures. On any trip to town you just had to make a stop. Can you see the devil or the 2 woman?

I see 6 young women and the devil. My Dad loved these pictures so I have been seeing them since I was a toddler. Took me a while to figure them out then.
7 young women if you count the white blur on the middle left.

I saw both at about the same time. The young lady as side view of her face with the eye of the old lady as the young lady's ear. Interesting.

At first, I saw only the interesting old lady, as I was expecting to see a picture of someone face on or side on; I had to look for quite a while to see the other version with the young lady looking away _ guess mostly when I take photos or view sketches, they are of people or animals looking towards you so you can see the expression on their faces and in their eyes - pictures where you can't see facial expression are not as interesting and I don't tend to look at them closely.

When I started Psychology at Leiden University in 1967 this illustration was in the first year introduction book. I always wondered why I saw the young lady first - she is so out of proportion to the other elements in the drawing, while the old one is not. And even now I still need to blink my eyes to see the old lady.

Like Mops, I first saw this picture a long time ago and I still have to work at finding the old face! (Except when I look in the mirror, of course.)

I don't feel old, but all I see is the old lady. I have come back over and over and have yet to see the young lady. Can someone send me a PM to explain where the young lady is? I don't want to ruin it for others, but its driving me nuts...lol
