Thank you! The 2 paper-pieced quilts (the sewing notions and the tea/coffee dishes quilt) were made for my mom for her 80th b-day.

They are all beautiful. I especially the black/red/white heart quilt as the colors are quite bold. And the bargello design always fasinates me, how it is done - just lovely.

The last 2 pics were made for friends in Japan that we stayed with when we were there. She was a student that lived with us in Canada while she studied English. This was about 20yrs ago. Now she is married and has 2 kids of her own! It was really neat to stay with them and really get to live the way the Japanese live!

Beautiful, they are a WOW LOOK AT THAT type. The last quilt with the chinese design, is that one piece of fabric? Would you say they are lap quilts?

Awww, thanks! The last quilt, yes,it is one piece of Japanese fabric. I loved it so much….i couldn't bare to cut it up so just used it as the backing fabric. All of these quilts are wall hangings….or lap quilts.
