Candy bags for the grands for Valentine's Day. Designs by Sick. I think I spent just as long to stitch them as I did to pick off the wss! Do you use wss when you sew on felt?

good job. I usually do not use a stablizer only heat away on top. It irons away.

I don't use a topper & often not even stablizer! Depending on how many stitches. But in the directions from emb garden for the tealight covers, you just hoop your felt without stablizer...may want to try one to see how it does.

thanks my friend that is a very good tip & the next batch I will try them without wss I didn't use any stabilizer either because it is a nice weight felt. hugs & ***

I'm like Gerry; I don't use any stabilizer when I use felt either. The fabric is its own stabilizer and works just fine. This saves time and money on stabilizer. I'm like you--I hate to waste time picking off bits of stabilizer! LOL

These are excellent! The grandies are going to love them! I've not stitched on felt yet but hope to do some felties to go on hair bows.

No, I don't use WSS on felt. I think you especially wouldn't need it on this design as it isn't separate letters, but the letters are on a filled in area.

These are pretty and no WSS unless I'm doing one of those tea lights. If it is thin felt sometimes tear away. Felt is so easy to stitch on except for the lint it leaves behind.
