Well, bless your heart.When my twin grand-daughters were in the NIC unit, the Threads of Love chapter made and gave things to them.They weighed one pound, eleven ozs and 1 lb 4ozs. Avery came home weighing 3 lbs 8ozs and she was a little over 2 months old! May God bless you and your work.We really appreciate the workers-Toogie

She was 6lbs __ ozs,I forget.Her brother was 8 lbs something and of course,the twins were underweight, so we have had them all sizes.My sons, 1st son was almost 9lbs 14 ozs and a natural birth! Ouch! He is the one that will be marrying in June...You may want to make Wyatt's cap off the larger size,since they outgrow so fast.If you just keep enlarging, you MAY can use this for Kylei, let us know if you do.-Toogie

Thank you for sharing this with us and the picture of Baby is Adorable!What goes around comes around-Tiny caps for newborns and larger ones for adult ladies who have undergone Chemo. You inspired me to try one. I have made a few caps using ski type patterns. Well here is what I did. I checked a hat that fit and kind of used its measurements. I traced off a pattern from an oval placemat.It is 18 1/2" length wise by 12". I found a piece of interlock cotton knit and used the same 2 pieces. I stitched mine on sewing machine. I used 3/8" seams and I think I'll try my serger with 1/2" seams next. I wear hats at home all day and sleep in them also. Also all cotton knit has a different amount of stretch so it is trial and error. I used to make preemie gowns and blankets for the babies to come home in for a local hospital. I need to get back to making some. I used flannel.Thanks you again for your idea. I live in Mobile Al and we are waiting for an ice storm to hit any minute now. olds/Maureen

Using a round bowl is HIGH tech! Been using a plate of the appropriate size for years to make round corners on my overlocked baby wraps.

My niece just had a baby girl February 11 and this pattern is so easy and Cuties always have so much to offer. Thanks toogle for sharing this pattern. Adalynn Rose weighed 3 lbs and 9 oz, so she's small and had a few days in the hospital. Wore her Mom and Dad out going to and fro to the hospital, but we all are extremely happy. The new generation is giving life and hope to the family. We have buried many this past year and this birth has been a blessing. In fact, we're burying an aunt Thursday this week. Sad and joy all rolled into one. Hope and sorrow, but we cope. Thanks for the joy TOOGLE!

Thanks so much for sharing - since we don't have any more babies in this family or friends I may just embroidery them with "Princess" or "Prince" and just give away to the hospitals (that is of course when I can find time - Life just doesn't want to cooperate it keeps getting in the way of my fun)

The duck was an ITH freebie,some time back,but is no longer available for free. If you look at the date my my name here it shows these instructions for this baby cap is over a year old. No matter about that, though I don't remember how long ago it was for the duck. I'm glad you liked the set and if you are fairly new, welcome to Cute!-Toogie
