Joshua was eventually operated on last night. He has had one of the pins removed and his leg has been thoroughly cleaned out, so hopefully the infection will now heal. He was in theater for almost 3 hours. I will ring him a little later.

What a relief to know his surgery is over and pray this is the last one. He has been a real trooper getting through this long ordeal of surgeries, infections and healing.

Just spoken to Josh. He is still in a lot of pain. They have had him out of bed and he hopes to go home later. We will just have to see.
