Looking at Loralyes arm knitting project I was thinking that's new, I have never heard of it. Then I though of the other things I have learned on Cute. How to make homemade laundry detergent, yogurt, tea cakes and biscornu's (pin cushions) What has this site taught you that you did not know. There is a lot of info here beside embroidery.

I have learned new words too. Somehow I missed the homemade laundry detergent though. I've learned how to find solutions to my embroidery problems. I have learned that finger puppets can be even more fun when you have an 8 yr. old make them. I have learned the importance of being patient and always say nice things no matter what. I have learned how not to be afraid to at least try something different (like in the hoop projects or lace) Thank you cuties for being such good teachers.

I learned new words, some different techniques, and about nifty gadgets. Best of all has been the encouragement as well as projects given by one another that has inspired me to learn & trying more.

Cute has enlarged my knowledge on Geography and natural history around the world. Different customs in all the countries that we come from. The huge amount of assistance and friendship from many that sadly I will never meet face to face

I've learned to try new things, such as FSL (free standing lace), In the hoops, combining designs, rotating designs to get a new angle, trying whole new color combinations NOT in the design (okay, with mixed results).using a piece of lace in an applique....

I am amazed at how much I have learned in the past 4 years. Most of which I owe to Cute Embroidery and all the people here who have so freely given their time and talents to all of us "newbies". Thank you to each and everyone who have helped me along my journey. Betty

I have learned more about other places in this world than I could ever learn in a history or geography book.

It would be hard to describe because it is a lot. I don't think my machine would be in use much. I learned all I know about embroidery right here by reading posts. I also created wonderful friendships not that I needed to learn about the value of friends
