We are going to have "Hat Day" in our church so I made mine, I bought the feather and beads and netting , the rest is made from just fabric and stippled on the embroidery machine.

My Mom was one of the first in our church to NOT wear a hat, because it smushed her hair and then she removed it to sing in the choir. I have all her old hats and 3 of mine - a straw boater, an Easter lace headband, and a velvet number from high school with netting on it. Wore it once!

nice hat but I would not wear one can not even stand the thought of wearing one. wore enough hats when I had to work in the feels said when I got out of there I would not wear another one.
