We are in a serious drought...I will take the winter IF it comes with lots of wet snow! None of the days with freezing temps with nothing to show for it are welcome...just the Mountain snow piled high!

I saw this on the news........what a tragic situation for plants, animals, humans, crops and anything that depends on water for survival......I pray that this ends quickly!!

Know many may have us beat - but, with the Lake Michigan lake-affect snow - we have had over 110 inches of snow so far this Winter and now Phil tells me Winter is far from over!!! Ugh!!! No hugs for Phil, Laura*

I watched as Phil came out to choose the scroll and whisper in his keeper's ear. Who wouldn't have seen their shadow with all those tv lights and cameras flashing? on a cloudy, rainy morning! I be very skeptical. haha

How many years has he got it right? Our area is calling for more mild winter for February but wet. Not sure what that means after all the sub zero digits we had for January that broke the record for the coldest January on record.
