Our Hills Hoist clothes line is not only used to hang out the washing. The resident Kookaburra's use it in the evening to feed the young ones. One flew off before I could get the camera. There were 4 sitting there in photo 1.

Guess you want to remove your laundry before they appear in the evening. lol They look like fun to watch.

My thoughts exactly! If you didn't get out there in time -- you would need a second washing. LOL
They are lovely birds though.

Hi Shirley, I love the big male bird on the left in the first picture. Aren't they the most gorgeous birds? Ours are still down in the back reserve feeding the young ones before they fly off to wherever they go. Love Chris

Yes they are lovely birds. They make quite a noise when they are feeding the young ones. I just love watching them. Love Shirley
