I HAVEN'T BEEN ON LATELY...sorry...its been almost a year since my husband fell the 40+ feet...lately he has been having problems with half of his eye going blurry/blind...severe head aches to the point he couldn't even lay down to sleep...I sent him to the doctors.They scheduled an MRI..Tuesday we found out he has about 20 cists in his head...some are pushing on the nerves....The doctor is amazed he hasn't had a stroke yet....He was given some meds to try and shrink the cists...since he started them he has been able to sleep and isn't having such piercing head aches...In a week we will be going back in to see if it worked...However the MRI also showed his discs in his neck/back have deteriated and arthritis has taken over and wrapped around the nerve...he will be going to a specialist to see if there is anything they can do...The doctor told my DH he is a mess...also told him in about 6 months to a year and he won't be able to move neck and will not be able to work. o top of all this, my DH's work truck went belly up and I have been fighting this bad flu that's going around for about 2 months......I know GOD has a plan for us....just seems like when the devil hits, he hits us hard..actually it sdeems like he wont leave us alone at all.

Deanna, seems like sometimes "when it rains, it pours", in reference to all the challenges life present at once! Praying for relief to come quickly to all the stress and health issues for you and your husband. It will get better, so hang in there! Life isn't fair, but it is still GOOD!!

Praying for you, for quick healing in your case, and for the continued careful diagnosis and treatment of your sweet husband's multiple problems. There has been a lot of grieving in this process for you. Do you know that superb nutrition is VERY important when you are physically or mentallly depleted? Try to eat really well, and hopefully you can get back to a good sleep schedule now that he is sleeping some. God's blessings on you both in the middle of the crisis.

Deanna, praying for you & hubby! Just an idea. I also have bad arthritis in neck with pain up into the base of the skull. (However, I do not have all the other problems your hubby has!) Dr. did an injection to see if a nerve block would help. The injections did show it would. I go next Thurs for the doctor to burn the ends of the nerves in that area to stop the pain, so I can move my head! Supposed to last about a year. If they mention that, may want to try it. I'll give you a report afterwards to let you know if it works or not. Praying for ya'll.

Sorry about all this. They say," when it rains, it pours". Just remember that after all those torrential rains everything turns green and beautiful flower bloom. Praying thsi will happen for you.

Wow, poor hubby. It's amazing to hear he had so may cysts, and so much pain. At least they have found the reason for his suffering - one step closer to getting some better results. I pray that all will be well soon.

Deanna I feel so sad for you and your hubby. He has had to go through so much this last year but so have you. I know just how frustrated you both get at having to keep battling on each day.
