Hi Everyone, Has anyone tried Texture Magic on the Embroidery Machine. I believe you just do a quilted grid and Wah Lah! Not sure when I will get out to get some, so if you try it, please let me know.

I have and it is wonderful. An iron does not work well for the steaming though; I used a regular steamer.

It was interesting watching the shrinking.

I have. Anita Goodesign had a "shrinky" animal one year in an event so I got the design there. There are lots of different designs that could be used to make the shrinky pattern - the pattern used to sew the fabric to the shrinky stuff makes a different pattern when it is "shrunk" to be used. Lots of quilt fill block patterns would work - even a grid would work - how small the grid is drives how shrinky fabric is. COmes out really nice for lots of appliques.

Appliques? I did not think of that. I hope to see pics. Thank you for the information.

Appliques?? Do you just stitch the design out without adding extra fabric?
