I'm starting a new thread because so many of you asked a lot of questions about our concrete bowls and I'm loosing track of the questions.<br /><br />

How thick are they: they are about 1 " thick in the bottom to about 1/2 inch thick on the sides.<br /><br />
What are they made of: they are made of concrete which turns into cement when the process is finished.<br /><br />
What do you use: We use real leaves, for example, we use rhubarb, hosta burdock, or any beautiful leaves that has character underneath the leaf.<br /><br />
How long does it take: the whole process for one leaf from start to finish takes 7 to 10 days.<br /><br />
What do you use for painting: I use acrylic paints, they are painted with a small narrow brush.<br /><br />
Are they sealed: yes, they are sealed before I paint them and after I paint them<br /><br />
Can they go outside: yes they can go outside but needs to be brought in for the winter.<br /><br />
How thick is the concrete when wet: the concrete should feel like bread dough.<br /><br />
Do you put an agent in the concrete: yes we add a fortifier to make sure they wont crack.<br /><br />
Where did you learn to do this? from the net. However, nobody gives out their recipe the way they "could". So we had to come up with our own recipe. You know, it's like baking. Sometimes you follow a recipe and someone else has a better one.<br /><br />
