I'm looking at your picture again. Are these two different one? I can see that the front of the bottom picture is white, and the back is purply, right? But on the top picture, the ears are purply (mauve). What's the trick?

Just a matter of how your knot is made, an extra turn gives a different effect..
its the same colour as it is on piccture 1, but the flash made it lighter
