Here are my handbag straps made from parachute cord. Parachute cord comes in many colors, however for this project I used white. The top piece is braid, the middle is square knots and the last is separated square knots. These are the easiest knots of macrame. Here is the link.

I agree. I like the solid look of the middle one. I enjoyed macramé but never made any really large items. I preferred to sew.

me too, I want something more substantial for the handles. Hope this works, they sew so nice.
