This is a pizza that thinks it is a birthday cake. The base is gingerbread and the topping is glace cherries, blanched almonds, slivers of dried apricot and grated marzipan (the cheese!) All drizzled with icing. This is for daughter Kate's birthday. I wonder if she will be impressed......
