It's made with Madeira "Diamond" thread. "Diamond" gives this a special and nice glisten in sunshine. It doesn't show on the picture that applications and quilt is made by that kind of thread.

No one else notices our mistakes if they are small. We seem to be the most critical of our work. Well done and yes the hearts look like they are supposed be part of the quilt.

That was a brilliant 'save', even though, as others said no-one likely would have noticed. I think your extra touches do give the impression of just that, extra touches to make it more unique. The colours work great together and it's finished up as a lovely piece of work.
