I made these. lampworked beads. I had to clean them this morning, the dust in this town... Some of them have dichro, some are hollow and even though I am not the best lampworker, they sure were fun to make. I will use them to embellish something.

nice work, I have always wanted to have a go at making lampwork beads. Have added this to my bucket list, I won't have time to die for about another 100 years or so

That's most of the idea of having a bucket list I think. Always several things more to look forward to and to hang in there for. Good luck with your list.

Very impressive! How do you do these?

there are 2 systems, Propylene and minor bench burner. Minor bench burner uses propane and oxygen and is hotter than propylene. They use different glass. You purchase mandrels and bead release. Heat the glass rod slowly on one end and when soft enough wrap it around the stainless steel rod (mandrel).

Do you have a studio set up at home, or do you go somewhere else to make them? These are gorgeous.
