I made this receiving blanket today with fabric I had. I got the "self binding receiving blanket" tutorial from the link I have added. I thought it went together pretty slick. There is also a tutorial on Youtube, see link below.

Yes, after the first one. The tutorial said a "10 minute project". I knew that wasn't true!

This one is flannel and seersucker. I have a fleece and flannel I'm going to make too. We'll see. The tutorial says both flannel.

I found some of the projects that Loralye posted that I missed last year! She said they didn't take 10 minutes either!

Thanks, I guess I missed yours before. Now I have my first grandbaby coming so I need to make blankets!

I have a couple people that will have new babies this Spring. The only part of the tutorial I was unsure of is where she said it was tricky. (of course :) ) I thought watching the video would help me visualize it better, but it says that you tube video is no longer available. :( I love your blanket!
