This is one of my UFOs I have been working on this week, my daughter gave me her machine quilting frame a few months ago , I didn't have any instructions, a friend came and gave me a lesson last Monday, I have now quilted 5 quilts ,this is the first of my own ,I quilted 3 for our bush fire quilt appeal , a great way to get lots of practice ,,, still trying to get to the bottom of the scrap bag lol

I am quite impressed. You mention a machine, are you talking about a frame and you use your own machine?

way 2 go.....looks great and I am envious of you with a quilter.....I will keep dreaming....love the quilt. and it is lovely you have done quilts for the bush fire disaster, was this for the one of a couple of weeks ago here. the poor south always gets bush fires, it never seems to get any easier for them to deal with them either....well done cute friend.

yes Kerry ,the fires here in the Blue Mountain last October , every child and adult who lost their home will receive a quilt of their own choosing .we will have a public day on March 21st where anyone can come see the more than 700 quilts on display and then the recipient's will come and select a quilt of their choice in a private event.
