This design came about because I had 4 new music fabrics to play with. I made the larger one (200mm square hoop) first and cut rectangles of fabric from the fat quartersto make the wedge shapes. The trimmings were big enough to make the smaller one! (130mm x 180mm)

The design is also available for 140mm square and 160mm x 260mm. It is made in two hoopings with just a little bit of hand sewing to finish - fully lined and no raw edges inside!

I love my chevron bag and it works beautifully as a pouch when bowling, but I'm awfully tempted to replace it with one of these, they really are attractive. Oh decisions, decisions! Jo

That turned out really cute, love the music fabric!! It is a very neat design!
It reminds me that I had done a western shirt for my youngest son years ago, the yoke had music treble clefs on it and I had sewed them upside down. I didn't even realize it till it was done. lol! I didn't remake it and he even had his pic taken with it. I felt like such a dunce. Duh!!

Hi Sue, my first comment on Cute Embroidery. The purses look really good. Nice fabric, but I would say that wouldn't I. See you again soon I hope.

Lovely bags. Can I ask if there is a zipper along the top? Thank you, Lyn
