Love your fabric choice. I really like to see labels on a quilt. They will mean even so much more 20 years down the road.
You did a great job.

Give Alishya a "Happy Bithday" wish from me,and let us see a photo of her with her quilt.I started working on my grandson's again today.I almost have the first row quilted from head to foot.Had to stop my back hurts and my neck burns.Saw your frame. Is that your emb machine that you already had, strapped to it?-Toogie

The machine on the frame is my first embroidery machine a Janome 8000.the screen has almost gone and its difficult to change any setting ,my mother in law bought it for me 16 years ago ,I now use a Janome 11000 and 350E.It was such a waste not using the 8000 , but it does a great job on the frame

Alishya , was so surprised to receive her quilt tonight ,she said wasn't sure when her mum showed her fabric ,that she liked it ,,but loved the way it looked when finished , and asked How did you get it Nan ?,,,it was nice keeping the secrets and seeing her so happy .I noticed she looked at the label a couple of times through the night .and I didn't even take a photo,I think her aunty Debbie did

I am happy for you and your daughter that she loved it. That makes it worth all the hours that went into making it.
