Our oldest daughter & her family live up North & she walks the little ones to school each day & it is so cold up there today & she can still laugh about it. This is what she said about the weather today! LOL
Yep. -30. The walk to school was treacherous. When we arrived, another mom commented about weather. I noticed she had ice crystals on her face. Then when I adjusted blanket in front of Grayson to block wind, I realized that I had them on my face too. Scarf hat mitts snow pants. Face down while I walked and I had ice forming on my face. Good times.

I can't stop laughing she is so full of perseverance & they have only been there since Sept & the snow started shortly there after! All she knows about the weather up there is snow & she said "Mom I am so disenchanted with the snow right now, It can leave anytime & I am ok with that!" What a good way to be I can think of many who are complaining about the snow we have & I am one of them LOL

Gee, cold like that is just so hard for us Aussies to contemplate. We are having such warm weather with high humidity, well at least here in Newcastle anyway. I hope your daughter and grandchildren don't get frostbite. I'm grinning here thinking of the crystals on her face, whilst I'm sitting in front of a fan in my summer nightie! Love Chris

yes now she know a little of what i go through .It is very bad here today Thursday and i am going out into it to go to the dentist:(:(But as she says this is life in the slow lane lol hugs and tell her i know how it is there hugs:):)

she has lost her hydro today due to the freezing temperatures. I sure hope they get it back on soon
