Cute and I like the more little kid style font idea maybe even twist one or two of the letters. It is easy to read even now. Whaley it is!

Looks great - love the little heart. My personal feeling is that your lines are too close together. I would try to see what it looks like with the writing under the whale's tail. Great job.
