He is very cute. I personally like a full satin - leaves less fabric fuzzies hanging out - especially after washing... I know you can use a fusible to try to stop if from happening - so it is truly a personal preference.

I prefer satin stitching just because I like the look of it. The words are placed perfectly and the curves are fantastic!

I think either border works and is purely a personal preference....I like them both for different reasons.....the font is great especially the way it ripples like waves....great job!
