I fell in love with patchwork4424's adorable kitty. So here is my version. I used katulle's (I think that is right it was a couple years ago) cat coaster and drew out on own body. I did the head in the hoop and did the body with my sewing machine, since I did not know how to digitize. I glued a couple circles of felt between the head and the body to make it more 3-D. I was planning hanging it from a door knob but it did not hang straight so I put magnetic strips on it and will put it on my fridge. hugs, Susan

You did a good job, The kitty is so cute.
Can you make the body and the head separat, the head in the hoop and then stuff both and sew it together, so may be it will hang straight.

I did make the head and body separately. Then glued them together. I probably won't make another. I am satisfied with this one. It took a long time to satin stitch all around the body with a regular sewing machine. This would be a great project for you digitizers though but it would require a hoop larger than a 5 x 7.

O you are so clever, it is wonderful, I too fell in love and have been wondering how to get round the problem. here you have it a bit of jiggling and I am sure it can be free hanging so to speak.
Hugs Pam.
