These are the latest two quilt tops I have recently made for Breast Cancer. The tops are sent on to the group owner, where she organises for them to be backed and quilted. They are then given away to BC sufferers who have been nominated by friends or family. It's all anonymous, the reciepent will not know who nominated her (or him). I have been doing this for over 12 months now, and I think it's a great cause.

Thanks for looking!

It is a really worthwhile thing to do. My daughter received one (not anonymously) and really loves it. It was therapeutic for her friend who had sewed it too.

Thank you everyone for all your positive comments, much appreciated. I am doing what I love most - patchwork and embroidery. I have no grandchildren to make for, so this satisfies my love of sewing, and it's for a good cause, as cancer has touched our family in the past.

This is a wonderful cause & I for one can tell you that they appreciate the quilt more then you will ever know! I know quite a few people who (not only BC but other Cancers as well) have received a quilt during their chemo & radiation & they cry every time to know that someone cares enough about them to give them this wonderful gift of love & support! You are giving more then a quilt here you are giving them hope! Well Done! ~hugs~

I should say that when my sister got hers she was overwhelmed. Due to their procedures she feels the cold so much more then she did before & every time she wraps herself in her quilt she is touched by the warmth & generosity of the stranger who made it.
