well I have created the stitch line just like an applique where it will sew out the placement line first then I sew it on. The back is a bit trickier but I sew the placement line & then flip it over & tape with painters tape the Velcro on the backside & sew it out then I remove all the tape before I sew out the satin stitch which I have made .16 so a nice wider stitch which I personally like & this way it will encase the outer edge of all the Velcro.
