granniebea, I made this tonight ,it took a little thinking,I had a little trouble working out the yellow ,but I'm very happy with the way it turned out ,Thank you so very much

Lovely. And your precision is super. I thought the outer pieces were part of the sashing, not of the block, although that would work as well.

I counted about 52 pcs to this blk!-Very, very pretty,but discouraging to me.as I don't like cutting out-BOO HOO....How big does this blk end up?

the yellow sparkle is a nice touch! The piecing of the light blue squares and the triangular edges doesn't look fun! They look perfect!

Thank you ,I only used what I had in my scrap bin for this block ,and yellow is one colour I don't have a lot of If you look at the block itself its only a 9 patch ,so you have 4 ,4 patches on the corners and the light lilac in the middle of the outside sections ,you turn you square on point and stitch triangles to each of the four corners,if that's a bit difficul to understand I will do another block and show you
