I loved this coaster when I first saw it at Craftsy. I downloaded the design but my computer kept telling me "no sewing data". With the help of another dear sweet Cutie I was able to stitch out my coaster. Lucky for me I had a piece of left over bias binding just the right color. I think my coaster suits me to a "T" since these are a lot of my favorite things.. hugs, Susan

I used Thinsulate ( the stuff for potholders) As for the binding, I measured and made little tick marks a half inch out from the stitched circle. I used these marks as a guide. Then with my walking foot I stitched the bias in place. Honestly I was amazed at how well the bias turned out. I was afraid some embroidered stitches would show.

I love it and the colour combination is great...well done Susan. The binding was just meant for this design.

Evidently. The bias was left over from the owl table topper I made last fall. It was just a left over scrap. Honestly it was a wonder I found it/remembered I had it. hugs, Susan

I really like this piece and the square one. 9 colors though. I need a bigger machine.
