What a day! It was my sister's 80th Birthday yesterday. We took her out to lunch. A 5 hour round trip to where she lives from us. We had a great afternoon with family. Photo 1. Peter will be the next in the family to turn 80. but that won't be for 3 1/2 years. Took this picture just in case he does not make it. LOL Shirley

It was lovely. She is having a big party on Saturday night. I don't think I will make the long trip again though. We'll see. Shirley

She sure did. It was a surprize, She thought she was only going to lunch with 3 and it turned out there wre 15 of us. Shirley

Congratulations to your sister on turning 80. A real milestone. My Mum was 80 in January - and as she says, "It's only a number!" Hope your brother makes the 80 as well. Great shot of all of you, and it's a pity it's such a long way to travel. Maybe next time take a plane! Love Chris

Thanks Chris. No planes go there, and I wont travel by plane anymore if I can help it. Airports are too noisy for me. I am sure Peter will make. My eldest sister is 92 & 1/2 Sadly she is in a home and has dementia and does not know us anymore. Love Shirley
