My daughter has just sent me this of Georgie at 1 year, with the caption "I look a right idiot in this outfit". I made the dress and hat for her. The expression on her face.......

I must say though, that I think she looks gorgeous in her outfit. Obviously, she has an eye for coordination by choosing those socks and (if my eyes don't deceive me) the touch of green on her sandals, with the green on the dress and sunbonnet.
I think her expression is really saying " Please leave me alone mother, I'm perfectly capable of standing on my own for this special picture for Grandma."

Well, I for one am sure she loves the outfit and is so impressed with being a Big Girl she is almost bursting with importance. That little face says Concentration to me, not Frustration, and looks like she's thinking, 'Quick, I can't stand still much longer.'
