Trev and I had a big day today cleaning! I planted some more flowers out the front, yellow spreading Pansies, and another 6 White Primulas (I planted 6 on Thursday). I'll plant my Sweet Peas tomorrow as they are due to be planted on St. Patrick's Day, but I'll be at Italian classes on Monday.
We then cleaned out the Kookaburra nest, well I did! And we have put our cover over the hole. It will come off again on the first weekend in September. As you can see by my arm, I'm a bit sore! I swept all the back deck and cleaned out the chairs that sit out there too. We had our gum tree fumigated 3 weeks ago as Trev noticed white-ant trails. Well we were allowed to take them off today and good news no more white-ants. Trev got up on the roof and washed down the back deck roof. I washed down the glass panels on the back deck! No wonder my arms are sore! I think I better go take an antihistamine. It's time for dinner anyway, it's 6.00pm Saturday night now! Hope to finish off my squares for Denise (sorro36) tomorrow, well second try at them for me! Love Chris

LOVE IT! My arm is giving me beans, that'll teach me, I can't do repetitive stuff anymore, due to my carpal tunnel and allergies combined! Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Trev does all the vacuuming and hard stuff for me! Good man, that he is! Love Chris

It's my fault, Trevor gave me some sweets last night and they must have contained wheat in them, that's my main allergic reaction - I just can't have wheat anymore. And it is amazing how many things have wheat in them. I should have known this would happen today as it takes a couple of hours for me to come out in the hives. I've taken my Fexotabs and the itching is decreasing thankfully. Love Chris

You had such a good day! I need one of those and get to spring cleaning. I think it is really cool that there are plants in both hemispheres at the same time. You are planting your fall sweet peas and I will be planting my spring sweet peas. I hope to stitch a block for my friend with MS to send to Denise.

It's from the stuff in the gum tree I think as well, as I was hanging onto one of the branches and there were ants and little bugs on it! It's going down today. Love Chris

I can't post a pic of my arm because it has that "thing" hanging off it that my little girl I babysat called a "Chuppie" (Chubbie).How do you explain to a 3 year old how you got that Chuppie? Hope your pansies and other flowers do well. It sounds like you did three days' work. Whew!
