We've just unearthed these porcelain dolls from our loft. My mother and I used to collect them in the 1990's. These three were all dressed by me. The one dressed in brown, I also made the doll from a kit.

Oh Sue, these are splendid. The brown outfit is gorgeous, the lacy details in all are lovely and the facial expression of the bottom one is so cute!

We have just removed a collection of historic computers from ours. Next on the list is Kate's Lego and a box of Beano comics. I'm not sure that it is treasure!
You should check out those Beano comics. Some can fetch good money.
I hope so - nothing else seems likely to!
We still have the BBC computer - all of 64 kB - with a cassette recorder for data storage in our loft. Youngest son wants it, He did his first game in Basic using the English manual, forced him to use a dictionary which was a good thing.
Does it still work - one of ours had a built in cassette player which failed.

Beautiful dolls Sue. If you no longer want them why not try selling them on one of the auction sites, and donating the money to charity.

I've had a look on Ebay - they don't fetch much. I think they may go direct to the charity shop!

Sue, here in Australia we have a Kids Wish Foundation for terminally ill children. (I'm sure you have the same thing in the UK). They would be glad to hold a raffle for your dolls as they are always looking for extra fund raising ideas. They are beautiful collectors items............Ann

Display purposes only, aren't they really. Maybe you can sit them up somewhere in your sewing room? Or there's always the dedicated doll collector, somewhere? That is if you can part with them.

I have my mom's doll from the 1920's, found it in the cedar chest I got. Eyes still open and close on it. She received it from her grandmother because she was in a school play and needed one for that event.

Sue, these are lovely dolls. They appear to be in excellent condition. I like the brown suit one the best although I think my granddaughters would vote for the one in the fancy dress. :) I know you will find just the right home for them. Becky
