Have you ever had one of those days, where nothing goes right? Well, today is my day.I couldn't locate a free standing lace angel, for a friend, she asked me to make. Then finally found it and my thread kept breaking, then my needle broke, then I got the skirt stitched and was ready for the rest and I noticed on one side edge, the threads didn't even connect! It is going in the trash. First,it was asked for a funeral, and the last thing I did for a funeral, was a smocked dress for my grand-daughter.I am not up to doing this emotionally, and second, I .....This afternoon,I have an appointment with a cardiologist, that I have never seen, and don't want to go.When I needed one and was having trouble, had to go to ER.After I came home, I made this appointment for this new cardio dr.Then after the second episode,I had to go back to the ER, because my family dr, his partner AND this cardiologist were ALL out of the office that week,so 2 trips to the ER. Now, that I feel better,I don't want to go, cause they won't find the problem. I don't need them (and more bills) now.My blood pressure is usually low but I bet it won't be today.Just had to rant so I wouldn't cry, not my usual self,sorry.-Toogie
I do understand your concerns regarding your appointment today but please do go. This is something that you just cannot let slide by. I know from personal experience that sometimes you just have to start thumping the consultants desk and be very insistant for answers regarding your health.
I know that all your friends here will understand your feelings at this time and will be happy to listen in the knowledge that it may go some way to brighten your days.
Of all else fails............................stand in front of the mirror and put your special hat on. Take care.
Feel with you.

I know this is not related to your smocking project but did you know if you're fan of applique junkie on facebook they have a bunny rabbit smocking design in their free design tab? They are doing other cute smocking designs too on their website, for purchase.
Please take care, rant away, stay well!!! Hugs, sharon
As the song says.... Some days are diamonds, some days are stone, thankfully the diamond days out number the stone days.
Sending hugs n love, Meg
