Here is a applique block I liked the way It look, it's from a book (Better Home and Gardens 501 quilt blocks) the book has several appliqued an well as pieced ones, I enlarged it somewhat. I had to make my own pattern. The design is hand appliqued and the center stamen is a silk ribbon stitch with silk ribbon in a dark gold. Do you like it?
